Michael
D. Morici, Jr.
Michael D. Morici, Jr. is the managing attorney of the New York
City office and a member of the firm's Real Estate and General
Business/Corporate Groups. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Morici
was an associate in the New York City office of Simpson Thacher
& Bartlett LLP, where his practice included complex mergers
and acquisitions, general corporate and securities law. During
Mr. Morici's five years with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, he
worked on several multi-billion dollar M&A transactions in
various industries including commercial real estate, biomedical,
communications, banking and optical technology. Mr. Morici also
provided general corporate legal advice to several fortune 500
companies as well as to private companies preparing for their
IPO.
Mr.
Morici earned his Bachelor of Arts from Duke University in 1996,
graduating cum laude and his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School
in 1999, where he was a Stone Scholar. He is admitted to practice
in the State of New York.
